Troy R. Pawelko, 44, of Lombard, IL, loving father and husband, left us too soon on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011. He was born on Sept. 20, 1967 in Wauwatosa, WI to Robert and Bonnie (Lambourn) Pawelko. He graduated from high school in Cary, IL, received his Bachelors Degree from the University of IL and Masters Degree from the University of Chicago.

Survivors include his wife: Teresa Petry; children and stepchildren: Sean, Maura, William, Emily and Caroline; father: Robert (Sandy) Pawelko of Dallas, TX and mother: Bonnie (Voyko) Kavcic of Rochester, NY; sisters: Onna (Nick) Jones of Chicago, IL and Tasha (Chris) Cavallaro of Fort Collins, CO; father and mother in law: Terry and Cindy Petry of Rochelle, IL.

Services will be held Friday, Dec. 9, 2011 at Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle, IL at 10:00 AM. Visitation at Unger-Horner on Thursday, Dec. 8th from 4 to 8 PM. Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Creston, IL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in memory of Troy Pawelko.
