Vada E. Davis, age 87 of Rochelle, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Rochelle Gardens Care Center in Rochelle, IL. She was born on Jan. 20, 1920 in Vandale, AR, the daughter of Ophus and Rhoda (Petterson) Williams. Vada married Odis H. Davis on March 12, 1938 in Wynne, AR and he preceded her on Nov. 1, 2005. She was also preceded by 2 sisters: Velma Woolbright and Flora Mae Futrell and 4 brothers: Dalton, Calvin, James T. and Dewey Williams. Vada had been employed by Caron International in Rochelle for 27 years.

Survivors include a son: Larry (Sharon) Davis of Rochelle and 5 grandchildren Tammy
Mac Donald, Larry R. (Denise) Davis, Scott A.(Angelia) Davis, Gregory A. Davis and Andrea R. (Michael) Erickson and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dr. James Horvath officiating. Visitation will be held at Unger-Horner
from 10 to 11 AM prior to the funeral on Saturday.

Burial will be at Trinity Memory Gardens.
