Vera H. Reints, 87, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, IL. Vera was born August 8, 1929 to Harry and Luella (Ringer) Krabbenhoft in Preston, Iowa. She married Glen Edward Reints on December 31, 1962; he preceded her in death on September 17, 2009. She is also preceded by her daughter, Lorraine Perham; brother, Edward Krabbenhoft and sister, Arlene Luett.

Vera is survived by her two sons: John "Jack" (Mary) Perham of Fort Myers Beach, FL and Keith (Dawn) Reints of Mt. Morris, IL; four grandchildren: Kimberly (Matthew) DeVries, Victoria (Matthew) Poss, Jerica (Jason) Howlett and Michael Crawford; and five great grandchildren: Brynn and Breanna DeVries, Wyatt and Abigail Poss and Shelby Howlett.

The visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M., Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M., Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Frick officiating. The burial will be at White Rock Cemetery in Kings, IL. A memorial is to be established.
