Vickie A. Mickley, 61, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the Rochelle Community Hospital. Vickie was born February 10, 1955 in Wynne Arkansas. She was raised by her mother, Martha Harrison and father, Dennis Harrison. Vickie married Donald Mickley on September 10, 1977 in Rochelle. She worked for Rochelle Elementary School District #231 for many years as a luncheon room monitor, playground attendant and bus aide. She is preceded in death by her father, Dennis Harrison.

Vickie is survived by her two children: Matthew (Amber) Mickley and Kelly (Chad Williams) Mickley; her husband, Don; her mother, Martha Harrison all of Rochelle; and four grandchildren: Landon, Emori, Cora and Dawson; and her grandpuppy, Joey.

Although you are gone too soon, you will forever be in our hearts. Your passion and love for music, the Chicago Bears and helping others has been carried on by your children and grandchildren. We love you to the moon and back!

The visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, February 6, 2017 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, February 7 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle.
