Victor Manuel Mascorro, 67, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Illinois.  Victor was born on April 21, 1958, the son of Migel Mascorro Pelayo and Maria Guitro Fregoso in Mexico.  On April 21, 1982, he married Olivia Galvan Gonzalez in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

Because of his love of cooking, Victor opened El Senior de Los Tacos in Rochelle.  He thoroughly enjoyed running his restaurant and visiting with his customers.

In addition to his parents, Victor is preceded in death by his sister, Luzelena Mascorro.

He is survived by his wife, Olivia of Rochelle; three children: Juan Galvan of Round Lake, IL, Edgar Mascorro and Miranda Mascorro both of Rochelle; brother, Luis Mascorro; three sisters: Irma Mascorro, Xochitl Mascorro and Camelia Mascorro and five grandchildren: Vania, Aranza, Fabricio and Palmira Galvan and Ariian Mascorro Soberanis.

The visitation will be from 10:00 - 12:30 P.M., Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle.  The funeral service will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Church 236 Kelley Drive, Rochelle at 1:00 P.M. with Father Jesus Dominguez officiating.  Cremation care will follow the service.  Visit www.ungerhorner.com to sign the online guest book.
