Victoria V. Stewart, 61, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in Rockford, IL. Vicki was born February 27, 1954 to Victor H. and Lucille (Jenkins) Gruben in Rochelle IL. She married Tom Stewart on April 27, 1985 in Aurora, IL.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Stewart, four daughters: Chenell, Schmell, and Taylor Stewart all of Rochelle and Ruth Ann (Mike Vincent) Stewart of Anamosa, IA; one son, Tony (Judy) Stewart of Aurora, two grandchildren: Alanna and Jaime (Jax); three brothers:
Dan (Sylvia) Gruben of Hot Springs AR, John (Jonne) Gruben of Rochelle,and Robert (Karen Terranella) Gruben of Rochelle; two sisters: Carol Mifflin of Rochelle, and Debbie (Bill) Hunley of Rochelle. Vicki is predeceased by her parents, infant son (Jason), and sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Jim Hunter.
There will be a short memorial at 1:00 followed by a celebration of life until 5:00 on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Story Book Gardens at 13501 E. Bethel Road, Rochelle. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family. The Unger-Horner Funeral Home is assisting the family with cremation rites.
