Virginia Miriam Coleman, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL.
She was born in Rochelle, IL on June 5, 1923, the daughter of Harold and Gertrude (Smith) Yetter. Virginia attended Rochelle Township High School where she met her husband Francis "Coley" Coleman. Virginia and Coley married Aug 29, 1942. Coley preceded her in death in 1980. She is also preceded by her parents and her two brothers, Dean and Duane.
Virginia is survived by two daughters Mary (John) North of Spring Grove, Il, Jean (Doug) Kroupa of Rochelle and son Jim (Rebecca) Coleman of Ann Arbor, MI; 6 grandchildren: Justin(Laura) Coleman, Lindsay Coleman, Christina (Chris) Dolack, Eric (Luna) North, Chandra (Kent) Mevis, Adam (Heather) Kroupa; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be at 5 PM, on Friday, July 19, 2013 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Rochelle, IL with Rev. Juan Ayala officiating. Visitation will be on Friday one hour prior to Mass. Burial will be at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery.
