Virginia M. Jacobson, 88 of Ashton, IL, formerly of Rochelle and Naples, FL; passed away on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012 at the Franklin Grove Nursing Home. She was born on May 2, 1924 in Sidney, MT to Allen and Nora (Holman) Butz. She was married to Anton M. Jacobson, who preceded her in death in April 30, 1994. She was also preceded by 4 brothers: Lloyd, Wayne, Harold and Everett Butz.

Survivors include sons: Jerry Salsbury of Laughlin, NV, Farrel Salsbury of Naples, FL,
Steve (Diane) Salsbury of Geneva, IL, Randy (Kim) Salsbury of Rochelle, IL, and Tony (Christie) Jacobson of Naples, FL daughters: Jennifer Allen of Naples, FL and Judy (Dave) Asbury of Ashton, IL;18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home on Wed. Sept. 12, 2012
at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM, Wed. prior to the service. The family requests memorials to Unity Hospice or to VFW Post 3878. Inurnment will be at the Naples Memorial Gardens in Naples, FL. Cremation rites were arranged by Unger-Horner.
