William "Bill" Bero III died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at his home in Rochelle. He was born on July 20, 1944 in Freemont, NE, the son of William Joseph, Jr. and Cecil Givens Bero. Prior to retiring, Bill was the Vice President of Operations of Industrial Pipe and Supply Company in Cicero, IL. He married Margaret Ann Pisha on September 4, 1964 in Chicago, she preceded him on March 27, 1988. He is also preceded by his parents and sister, Cecil Kimlicka. He was a member of the Rochelle First Presbyterian Church.

Survived by his daughter, Colleen (Dr. Michael) Monfils of Rochelle; son, Brian Bero of Los Angeles, CA; 5 grandchildren: Timothy, Megan, Kate, Daniel and Jonathan Monfils; brother, Bruce Bero of Lincoln, NE, 2 sisters: Margaret (Robert) Patton of Yorkville, and Carol Valenta Orlando, FL and Joseph Valenta of Whitefish, MT, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 pm on Friday, April 15, 2016 at the Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle. Graveside service will be on Saturday at 11 am at the Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, 11333 South Central Ave., Oak Lawn, IL with Rev. Dr. James Tilley officiating.
