Obituary
William J. Dalton, age 70, of Ashton, IL died Sat. Oct. 8, 2011 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 13, 1940 in New Jersey the son of William and Giovanna Gotilla Dalton.
Retired from E.D. Etnyre & Co. in Oregon, IL as a mechanical engineer. Member of St. Patrick Church of Rochelle. Also belonged to Sports Car Club Of America, N.R.A., Air Craft Owners and Pilots Association and Experimental Aircraft Association.
Survived by his children: John (Francesca) Dalton of Spotswood, NJ, and Andrea Kilkenny of Bloomfield, NJ; and 2 grandchildren: Michael and Victoria Dalton.
Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Rochelle, with Rev. Steven Lange officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 - 8 PM at the Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle. Memorials to the St. Patrick Catholic Church or the American Heart Association. Burial at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Rochelle.
