WILLIAM "DAN" FELTNER III, age 65, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Pine Acres Rehab and Living Center in DeKalb. He was born on June 21, 1948, the son of William Jr. and Maude Banton Feltner. Dan worked for over 40 years as a flooring installer and also served as a Rochelle Firefighter. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his loving companion, Mary Lou Feltner of Rochelle; 3 Children: Missy (Eric) Gruben of Rochelle, Jennifer (Jarod Hill) Miller of Burlington, WI, and Adam (Susan Vogt) Feltner of Creston, 4 grandchildren: Ethan and Mallory Gruben, and Coral and Whitney Miller; sister, Cindy Feltner of Nashville, TN, and nephew: Nicholas (Connie Schmidt) Buck of Las Vegas, NV.

Visitation will be from 4- 6:45 PM on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6 ^th St., Rochelle.

Memorial service will follow at 7 PM on Thursday at the Unger Horner Funeral Home with Chaplain Judy Williams officiating. A memorial has been established to the family. Cremation rites have been accorded and inurnment will be at Lawnridge Cemetery.
