William E. French Jr. , 76 of Rochelle, passed away Thursday May 3, 2007 at the Rochelle Healthcare Center West. William was born December 19, 1930 the son of William E. and Deliah (Avery) French. William married Margaret E. Ritzel September 4, 1950 in Terre Haute, IN. William worked as a butcher for Swift & Co. retiring in 1981. He was preceeded in death by: 1 daughter; La Donna Marie Johnson, 2 brothers; Ross, and Norman French.

Survived by his wife Margaret and 2 daughters: Madonna Sue Tieman of Mt. Morris, IL, and Laura (John) Orlikowski of Rochelle; 1 brother: Glenn (Effie) French of Whitesville, KY; 2 sisters: Pansy Manning of Evansville, IN and Martha Helen (Joe) Wathen of Marion, IL.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 9, 2006 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church with Rev. David A. Peck officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5 - 7 PM on Tuesday at the Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle.

Burial at the St. Patrick Cemetery.
