Obituary
William F. Myroth, 89 of Creston, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at his home.
He was born on Sept. 4, 1919 on a farm in Flagg Township, the son of Deiderich and Tillie (Beck) Myroth. He was a graduate of Rochelle Township High School. Bill married Julie Burr on Feb. 25, 1946 in Terra Haute, IN and she preceded him on July 24, 1972. He married Joan Knudson on Jan. 31, 1976 in Rochelle. Bill retired from farming in 1982.
Survivors include wife Joan of Creston, sons: Richard Myroth of Colorado and Erland Knudson of Creston;5 daughters: Linda Schoessow of Texas, Marcia (Larry) Lage of Rochelle, Jodi
(Randy) Vande Berg of Brandon, WI, Kaye (Michael) Philipps of Davis Junction, IL, and Kimberly (Michael) Zagorski of Black River Falls, WI; sister: Frances Sanderson of Michigan;
14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wed. July l5, 2009 at Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle from 4 to 8 PM. Private family funeral services will be held Thursday. Burial will be at Trinity Memory Gardens. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Creston Fire Department or to Ogle County Hospice.
