William H. Troxel Jr., 74 of Rochelle, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Rochelle Community Hospital. He was born on Jan. 23, 1935 in Sextonville, WI the son of William H. and Gladys cooper Troxel. Bill married Patricia L. Williams in Rochelle, IL on Oct. 28, 1988.
Preceded by 1 daughter Jeneen Troxel, 1 Step-son Timothy Smith, and 2 sisters Betty Spatola and Marie Hale.

He was a Military Veteran and auxiliary member of the Rochelle V.F.W. Post 3878. Bill also drove many Verterans to the V.A. Hospital in Madison, WI and also he drove the bus for Nursing homes and Senior Center.

Survivors include his wife: Patricia of Rochelle; 5 daughters Jan Troxel of Oregon, IL, Deanna (Peter) Hippelli of Germany, Dayna (Bobby) Crouse of Ashton, IL, Christina Smith of Westbend, WI and Susie (Cory) Kreider of Rochelle.
1 brother Don (Carol) Troxel of Richland Center, WI and 3 sisters Joyce (Ed) Prahl of Jackson, MI, Phyllis Camilla of Plymoth, WI and Norma Delleman of Kenosha, WI.
8 grandchildren: Devyn Absher, Saige and Skylar Hippelli, Kory, Joey and Kaylyn O'Toole, Taylor & Trent Kreider.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday July 21 at Unger-Horner Funeral Home with visitation on Monday from 4 to 8. With cremation following funeral services.
