Willie Lee Jones, age 67, of Steward, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2013 at the Rochelle Community Hospital. Born December 10, 1945 in Marked Tree, Arkansas, the son of Jim Hershal and Vady Jones. He married Peggy L. Catron and together they began a family tree. It branched out with Bill, Shelly (Jerry)Adams, the late Ronnie Jones and Terry (Val) Jones. Then branched out again with grand kids: Mikel and Megan Adams and Casey and Skylar Jones. Willie is survived by one brother Art and four sisters Bonnie, Barb, Judy and Pat. He was preceded by four brothers: John, Charles, Jim and Bill.

He spent many years driving across the country and on Dec. 6, 2013 he drove his big Rig to his final destination.....HEAVEN. Where he was met by his son Ronnie who is showing him the roads of Gold.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday Dec. 10, 2013 at Unger-Horner Funeral Home with visitation from noon to 1:45 on Tuesday. Memorials established to the family.
