Wilma Jean Wilder, age 83, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the Rochelle Gardens Care Center. She was born on April 4, 1939 in Richmond, VA, the daughter of Cull and Alberta (Ritchey) Catron. She married Robert James Wilder on November 23, 1957 in Tennessee; he preceded her in death on October 11, 2007. Wilma is also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Dora Sumpter and Midge Catron Campbell; five brothers: Jessie Catron, Ronnie Catron, James Catron, Bobby Joe Catron, and Danny Wayne Catron, and one son, Randy Wilder.

Wilma is survived by her four daughters: Nancy Lazenby of Rochelle, Kathy Rippee of Rochelle, Sandy (Estel) McMaster of Bellflower, CA, and Tammy (Chuck) Zoia of Angier, NC ; and one son, Terry Catron of Rochelle; 12 grandchildren: Robert Wilder, Chastity Catron, Kevin Currier, Brian Bolt, Jonathan Zoia, Christina Garcia, Estel McMaster, Jamie Lazenby, Derek Zoia, Summer McMaster, and Angelica Gomez; ten great grandchildren; four brothers: Charles 'Ed' Catron, Kenneth Catron, Dave Catron and Frank Catron and many nieces and nephews.

Wilma loved her family. She enjoyed country music, silly singing, watching NCIS, good food, like fried fish, watermelon, ice cream and candy. Her favorite thing of all was to be with her family.

The visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M., Monday, October 10, 2022 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle Funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 11, 2022 with Brother Christopher Gentry officiating.
