Obituary
Yvonne A. Lichty, 85, of Rochelle, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010 at St. Anthony
Hospital in Rockford. She was born on March 10, 1925 in Gunder, IA to Alfred and Elvina (Jensen) Gisleson. Yvonne married Francis B. Lichty on Dec. 14, 1944 in Rochelle and he preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 1995. She was also preceded by a daughter: Nona Rasmussen on March 2, 1999. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Carol (Ken) Cummings of Malta, IL and Conni Johnson of Algonquin, IL; grandchilden: Susan Fitts , Annette Moniz, Teresa Thorne, Tonya Barton, Scott Thorne, and Kiel Johnson; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild;
sister: Julie Green and her special care giver: Dr. Mike.
Services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rochelle on Monday, Nov. 15, 2010 with Rev. Greg Hoffmann at 10:30 AM. There will be a visitation from 9:30 to 10:15 on Monday,
at the church prior to the funeral. Visitation at Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle, from 2 to 5 PM on Sunday, Nov. 14th. Burial at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle and memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
